I learned chess from my grandpa. Each weekend we played some games. In the beginning he removed his queen and his rooks. So i had a light chance to win. As i got better we played with the full chess set.
I‘m not good at playing. My teacher won 3 out of 4 games. And, he showed me the ‚Schäferzug‘. Interesting, because his name was Schäfer.
My workmate likes chess. He showed me the Free Internet Chess Server (FICS). I was impressed. I noticed the different clients and found that no Mac client fulfilled the needs of Herbert. So i did my best to show him that i am better in programming than chess.
